You will work on Damrak, right in the heart of one of Amsterdam’s liveliest areas. Every day, we welcome guests from all over the world who come to discover traditional Dutch pancakes. You connect with people easily, keep a clear overview and know how to invite passers-by into our restaurant in a natural and enthusiastic way.

What do we offer? 

• All-in salary of €17.91 gross per hour, including holiday allowance and the monthly payment of accrued holiday hours.  

• Tips: an average of €3.00 per hour worked.  

• Total average earnings: approximately €20.91 per hour worked.  

• Flexible hours: together, we determine the number of hours based on your preferences and availability.

What will you do? 

As a host, you are the face of Dutch Pancake Masters. You make sure our guests immediately feel welcome and help the restaurant run as smoothly as possible. 

You will: 

• personally welcome guests from the Netherlands and abroad;  

• approach passers-by in an enthusiastic and respectful way;  

• get guests excited about our restaurant and dishes;  

• show guests to their tables;  

• keep track of available tables, waiting times and the flow of guests;  

• answer questions about the restaurant and menu;  

• communicate requests and important information to the service team;  

• recognise commercial opportunities and help guests make their choices;  

• work with your colleagues to create a welcoming and memorable experience.
