Dutch Pancake Masters

Shift Leader

Are you ready to take the next step in hospitality? As a Shift Leader at Dutch Pancake Masters, you lead the team during your shift while working alongside them on the restaurant floor. You keep an overview, set the pace and make sure both our guests and your colleagues have a great day.

You will work on Damrak, in the lively heart of Amsterdam. Every day, we welcome guests from all over the world who come to experience traditional Dutch pancakes. Our restaurant can get busy, so your energy, leadership and ability to make quick decisions are essential.

You are the right hand of the restaurant management and take responsibility when a manager is not present. You lead by example, support the team and make sure our standards for service, speed and hospitality are met throughout the shift.

What do we offer?
  • A competitive all-in salary, based on your experience and including holiday allowance and the monthly payment of accrued holiday hours.
  • Tips: an average of €3.00 per hour worked.
  • Flexible hours: together, we determine your hours based on your preferences and availability.
  • The possibility of agreeing on fixed working hours.
  • A central workplace on Damrak, close to Amsterdam Central Station.
  • A responsible role within a friendly and international team.
  • Training and personal guidance to help you develop as a leader.

  • Employee discounts at our restaurants.
  • Regular team activities and social events.
What will you do?

As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant during your shift. You keep a clear overview, know what is happening on the floor and step in wherever needed.

You will:
