You will work on Damrak, in the lively heart of Amsterdam. Every day, we welcome guests from all over the world who come to experience traditional Dutch pancakes. Together with the kitchen and service team, you help us provide fast, friendly and welcoming service—even during our busiest moments.
You do not need years of hospitality experience. If you are motivated, enjoy working with people and are ready to learn, we will teach you everything you need to know.
What do we offer?
- All-in salary of €17.91 gross per hour, including holiday allowance and the monthly payment of accrued holiday hours.
- Tips: an average of €3.00 per hour worked.
- Total average earnings: approximately €20.91 per hour worked.

What will you do?
As a food runner, you are the essential link between our kitchen and our guests. You make sure dishes are served quickly, correctly and with a smile.
You will:
- collect dishes from the kitchen and serve them to the correct tables;
- check that every dish looks complete and presentable before serving it;
- communicate clearly with the kitchen and service team;
- clear and reset tables when needed;
- keep the restaurant and service areas clean and organised;
- help colleagues during busy moments;
- answer simple guest questions or find the right colleague to assist them;
- contribute to a smooth, friendly and memorable guest experience.
